The Qadiri Rose having slightly different forms and sometimes appearing in various colours generally contains the following aspects. It has three circles, the first referring to the shari´a, the second to the tariqa and the third to ma´rifa. The eighteen tips of the star would refer to the numerological value (abjad) of the name Hayy. The star in the middle is called “Stamp of Sulayman” (mühr-i süleyman), resembling faith in the unseen.
